Many know Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman to be a notorious drug dealer in the Sinaloa Cartel. The Mexican drug lord earned more than a billion dollars before he was arrested in 2013. El Chapo's wife, Emma Coronel Aispuro, has been in headlines recently, due to her nearly constant presence in the New York courtroom where El Chapo's trial is currently taking place.
Coronel Aispuro isn't El Chapo's first wife, however. The kingpin of the Sinaloa cartel has been married a handful of times, yielding a large number of children in the process.
Jesus Alfredo Guzman Salazar
Salazar was kidnapped by a rival cartel, the Jalisco New Generation cartel. He was among six men who were kidnapped in Puerto Vallarta. According to reports, gunmen stormed an upscale restaurant and took six men captive. Two of Guzman Salazar's brothers were believed to be taken captive in the attack as well. He was freed one week later.
Salazar has been accused of drug trafficking by United States authorities. He is believed to have assumed a greater role in his involvement with the Sinaloa cartel after his father's arrest.
Ivan Archivaldo Guzman
Guzman was believed to have also been kidnapped by the Jalisco New Generation cartel along with his brother, Jesus Alfredo Guzman Salazar. It is believed that Guzman was freed at the same time as his brother, approximately one week after they were kidnapped.
Guzman is also believed to be trafficking drugs for the Sinaloa cartel. It is reported that Guzman and Salazar are now running El Chapo's drug empire.
Edgar Guzman Lopez, deceased
Lopez' life was cut short at just 22 years of age, when he was gunned down in a supermarket parking lot in Mexico. Lopez was murdered along with two other young men in 2008, as they waited in the parking lot for one of the men's girlfriend to finish shopping inside. Police found over 500 AK-47 shell casings at the crime scene.
Rosa Isela Guzman Ortiz
Guzman Ortiz, the eldest daughter of El Chapo, resides in California, although her exact location is unknown. Guzman Ortiz has two children with Vicente Zambada Niebla, known as El Vicentillo, the son of drug lord Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada.
In her first media interview in 2015, Guzman Ortiz told The Guardian that she maintains friendships with what she calls "narco juniors," second generation cartel members. Through funding obtained by her father, Guzman Ortiz opened several business in the United States, including hair salons, soda machines, and carwashes. This resulted in an investigation into money laundering, in which Guzman Ortiz was detained for 15 days. She claims the businesses are no longer in her name.

Her defense attorneys stated that she was seven months pregnant and a medical doctor from Guadalajara. She was deported to Mexico after pleading guilty to the fraudulent use of a visa.
Ovidio Guzman Lopez
Guzman Lopez is suspected to be part of the Sinaloa cartel's financing system. He escaped from a maximum security prison near Mexico City with two of his brothers in 2015 and has not been recaptured yet. United States authorities began investigating Guzman Lopez for drug trafficking and money laundering in 2012, however, this is complicated due to the low profile he keeps.
Griselda Guadalupe Guzman Salazar
The whereabouts of Guzman Salazar are unknown. Internet searches yield no information about her. This woman is totally unknown."
Kim Guzman Dolci
Like her sister, Griselda Guadalupe Guzman Salazar, the whereabouts of Guzman Dolci are also unknown. The daughter of El Chapo has managed to avoid attracting headlines as of this writing. Internet searches yield no results for Guzman Dolci.
Joaquin Guzman Lopez
The whereabouts of El Chapo's namesake are currently unknown. Aside from records confirming that Guzman Lopez is the son of El Chapo and Griselda Lopez Perez, internet searches yield no results. This lack of information is largely due to his name bearing such a close resemblance to his father's, as well as the oversaturation of El Chapo-related search results.
Laisha Guzman
As with her sisters and brother, Guzman's whereabouts are currently unknown. Guzman appears to have kept a low profile, as internet searches do not generate any information about this daughter of El Chapo.
Emaly and Maria Joaquina
